The 3rd Annual Spring Spectacular held at Lenzi's on March 25th (also Greek Independence Day) was a great success, raising over $90,000 for Saints Medical Center.

We owe a large THANK YOU to all who participated -- our sponsors, our Committee, Board of Directors, Trustees, to our volunteers who continue to share their time and talents, and to all of our guests for supporting this annual favorite fundraising raffle. Thank you to the hospital employees and departments who generously donated uniquely creative raffle baskets as well as local businesses for many donated items that contributed to our success.

Over 600 guests attended the event. Everyone enjoyed the jazz trio, First Take, who entertained the crowd with a performance that was nothing short of spectacular. The delectable food provided by Lenzi's, from seared scallops on sugar cane sticks and lollipop lamb chops to fruit trees, mini tarts and tuxedo dipped strawberries was simply the best! We can always count on Lenzi's to bring a unique touch to the menu each year.

Our amusing and charming auctioneer, State Representative Thomas A. Golden, assisted in this extraordinary evening of community charity as excitement filled the room in anticipation of the announcement of our $10,000 Grand Prize Winner, drawn by John Chemaly of Trinity EMS, this year's Presenting Sponsor. This year's winners were:
