2009 FALL FESTIVAL  

  

The 2009 FALL FESTIVAL FOR LIFE CANCER WALK WAS A HUGH SUCCESS! It was a drenching wet day on Saturday for our 4th Annual Fall Festival for Life Cancer Walk, but that didn't stop the over 500 walkers who participated in this extraordinary event. There were games, prizes, face painting for the kids and an outpouring of support from the Greater Lowell community. Thanks to all the hospital employees, sponsors and volunteers who worked or donated to this year's event. The display of loyalty and commitment made this a huge success.

Grand Marshal Shannon Allen, wife of Boston Celtics Great Ray Allen, along with Lowell's Mayor Edward "Bud" Caulfield pumped up the crowd as they kicked off the start of the walk.
