30th Annual Saints Foundation Golf Classic - Monday, August 18, 2008

A picture-perfect day topped off the record-breaking 30th annual Saints Foundation Golf Classic on Monday, August 18, 2008 at Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover. Saints Foundation board of director members and golf tournament co-chairs Dan Durkin and Chris Finneral led the way in raising $454,295 for Saints Medical Center.

Saints Medical Center was proud to honor Al Lenzi at this year's Foundation Golf Classic. Al is the recipient of numerous awards for his contributions and support of the community and to his family. He has done so much for so many in the Greater Lowell area.

Over 250 golfers played in the morning and afternoon flights. The tournament offered breakfast, lunch, and a wonderful dinner including delicious lobster tails and filet mignon. Guests enjoyed a comedy show with actor/comedian Lenny Clarke and fellow comedian Steve Sweeney. The audience participated in a Live and Silent Auction emceed by Lenny Clarke, who had the crowd of over 300 roaring with laughter.

Our tournament is one of the largest and most successful charity golf tournaments in the Merrimack Valley. Much of our success is due to the incredible golf committee, sponsors and volunteers who have been working for almost a year to make this event happen.

Special thanks to Dan Durkin and Chris Finneral who were the co-chairmen of this year's Golf Committee. Their tireless efforts and continued support made this a great success.
