Gynecological Oncology

Physicians trained in gynecological oncology have special expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers effecting the female reproductive organs. These cancers include: cervical, uterine, ovarian and vaginal malignancies.

Gynecologic oncologists are gynecologists who have taken additional training in the management of these cancers and provide both surgical and drug treatments. They work closely with radiation oncologists and other cancer specialists to provide multidisciplinary care for their patients.

Dr. Valena Soto-Wright,  a gynecological oncology consultant, provides comprehensive care including diagnosis, counseling, surgery and chemotherapy for women with gynecological cancer and pre-invasive disease and works in close collaboration with Saints Medical Center's  oncology team. We embrace the team approach in order to ensure that all aspects of a woman's health and well being are adequately addressed.

Dr. Soto-Wright sees her referred patients at the Women's Center, 33 Bartlett Street, Suite 204, Lowell, MA.
