Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy focuses on self-care skills, home management skills, community integration skills, cognitive and safety skills. Occupational therapists also address upper extremity dysfunction due to weakness, loss of mobility, sensation or coordination, and/or the presence of pain and swelling. Apart from a customized exercise program, a certified hand therapist can provide custom splint fabrication, edema control and scar management, functional retraining and work reconditioning on an outpatient basis after obtaining a prescription from a physician.

Occupational Therapy is located on the ground floor of the Reilly Building. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Please call 978-934-8236 to schedule an appointment.
