Cardiac Catheterization Center
Cardiac catheterization, the procedure to treat coronary artery disease, is performed in our dedicated facility utilizing the most modern technology and equipment available. A highly trained and experienced nursing and technical staff works closely with our cardiologists to support and monitor patients from their arrival at the lab through their procedure and recovery period.
Patients rely on Saints Medical Center for additional interventional cardiovascular needs, including permanent pacemaker implants, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms. Our cardiac specialists also perform around the clock angioplasty, which is highly regarded as the most effective procedure for patients experiencing myocardial infarctions (heart attack). Angioplasty is also performed as an elective procedure.
