The Cancer Center has affiliations with several distinguished health care institutions, including well-known Massachusetts's hospitals renowned throughout the world for their excellence in cancer treatment and research.

Patients who request or require consultation, treatment or services at our affiliating institutions may receive their follow-up care, including radiation therapy and chemotherapy, at Saints Cancer Center. Patients have the opportunity to participate in the most up-to-date cancer care with a multidisciplinary team of well-respected cancer specialists.

The American Cancer Society (ACS) -- the only voluntary cancer control organization that fights cancer nationally, statewide and locally. Its mission is to diminish suffering through service to cancer patients, their families and loved ones. ACS has long been a leading advocate for cancer control through its promotion of cancer prevention risk reduction, early detection, and education. ACS is the nation's largest private, not-for-profit source of funding for scientists studying cancer through extensive research programs. www.cancer.org

National Cancer Institute (NCI) -- an organization that provides vision and leadership for the research community and leads the nation's fight against cancer by supporting and conducting ground-breaking research in cancer biology, causation, prevention, detection, treatment and survivorship. www.cancer.gov

American Society of Clinical Oncology -- a national organization for oncology professionals. Members benefit from published findings on the latest research and treatment protocols, educational programs and networking opportunities. http://www.asco.org

Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) -- national organization for oncology nurses, providing an opportunity to share information, educational material, news on current events and topics pertinent to oncology nurses, patients and families. www.ons.org

American College of Surgeons -- a scientific and educational association of surgeons founded to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for practice. The College conducts many programs through its Commission on Cancer to improve cancer care by encouraging hospitals to develop optimal treatment programs for cancer patients. www.facs.org
