Visiting Hours
Our goal is to help you recover as soon as possible and we recognize that family and friends
play an important role in helping many patients to feel better. Saints Medical Center
encourages patients to maintain contact with family and friends, but reserves the right to
limit visitors based on clinical considerations. Occasionally, we may place some limitations
on visitors if they are ill in order to protect our patients from infection.
Saints Medical Center has an open visiting policy.
To maintain a secure environment the
following guidelines for visiting apply after 8 pm until 7 am:
- Visitors enter through the Emergency Department Entrance and are
directed to the Security Dispatchers office.
- The clinical unit is called to verify visitation.
- Family members are given a temporary ID badge and are escorted
through the Medical Center as needed.
Of course, parents may visit pediatric patients 24 hours a day.
Please help us maintain a restful environment for patients and a welcoming one for their families by being a considerate visitor. To that end, we offer these guidelines: observe the hospital’s “NO SMOKING ANYWHERE” policy; leave the patient's room when care is rendered; respect the privacy of other patients by speaking softly; please leave children under age 12 at home.
We ask that only adult family members and clergy visit the IMC.
Visitors to patients in the ICU are limited to two adult family members at a time. Nursing staff will evaluate and make adjustments to meet patient and family needs. Children are not routinely allowed to visit, but allowances can be made based on the therapeutic needs of the patient.
