Saints Medical Center Announces the Appointment of George P. Meltsakos
as Saints New Vice President of Medical Affairs

Lowell, MA, September 3, 2008 – It is with great pleasure that Saints Medical Center announces the appointment of George P. Meltsakos, MD, as Saints new Vice President of Medical Affairs.

Dr. Meltsakos has been an active member of the medical staff at Saints for 20 years. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at Boston University Medical School and the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Meltsakos is Chief of Staff at Saints and a member of numerous boards including: Saints Board of Trustees, Saints Foundation Board, QA and IPA Committees, Critical Care Committee, Holy Trinity Church, Medical Director, and Blaire House Nursing Home in Tewksbury.
