Guimond earned his BS degree in accounting from Bryant College. He is a member of several professional healthcare organizations and philanthropic community groups.

In making the announcement, Guley said, “Challenging economic times call for hospitals to recruit and retain the best possible financial talent. In choosing Stephen Guimond for this important position, Saints has a strong senior executive in place who can successfully navigate the myriad of business processes that are necessary to maintain a strong balance sheet and continued profitability.”

Guimond said, “I am pleased to join a community healthcare system that is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to the Greater Lowell region.
