2010 Diabetes Live and Learn Schedule
This group meets every second Thursday in the First Floor Conference Room at Saints Medical Center from 6 - 7 pm. No registration is needed.

July 8 - Exercise is not only a factor contributing to overall blood glucose levels, but exercise also contributes to a feeling of overall well-being. Therese Larose, BS, EP, is an expert in exercise and will present exercise suggestions to help you jump start a routine this summer while considering various abilities as well as give answers to your exercise routine questions.
August 12 - Patricia Eno, a registered pharmacist at Saints Medical Center, will discuss various diabetes medication regimes, oral as well as insulin regimens, to help maintain and achieve your A1C and blood sugar target goals. Bring your questions and your personal medication list.
September 9 - Diane Maltais, RN, BSN, our infection prevention coordinator at Saints Medical Center, will present the latest information and recommendations for appropriate immunizations to maintain wellness while living with diabetes.
October 14 - Max Tilson, MD, a gastroenterologist, will address issues regarding diabetes and its effects on the gastrointestinal system and how we can protect our bodies with regard to the foods we eat and the medicines we take.
November 4 - A celebration of National Diabetes Month. Check back for more details about this informational evening.
