2011 Diabetes Live and Learn Schedule

Our Diabetes Live and Learn Educational Group meets on the second Thursday of the month in the First Floor Conference Room from 6-7 pm. The program is free of charge and registration is not required. Listed below are the featured speakers for the next three months:

Thursday, May 12 -"Diabetes and Us"- Dr. Rajaa Nahra will discuss the teamwork that is necessary between the medical team and the patient for successful diabetes management.

Thursday, June 9 -Diabetes and the Gastrointestinal Tract"- Dr. Richard Tilson will explain how diabetes affects the digestive system and how to keep yours healthy.

Thursday, July 14 -"Appropriate Wound Care"- Dr. Nicholas Spirito will share his expertise in the prevention of wounds, wound healing and wound care.
