Cancer Center Support Services

The Saints Cancer Center helps patients to take the first step and every step toward recovery. We are here to help patients live with cancer and its treatments and to ultimately help them live beyond the disease.

It is normal for those diagnosed with cancer to feel devastated, overwhelmed and afraid. But once the initial shock has passed, many cancer patients soon learn that there are options as a result of the success rates of effective treatments.

The Cancer Center offers many programs and services to support those living with cancer, including:

Support and Counseling
Support groups are offered without charge. Specially trained social workers provide supportive counseling for patients and their families who are coping with illness. Support groups include:


Grief Support Group
Are you struggling to come to terms with the recent death of a loved one? Come together to learn about the grief process, to share feelings and concerns.

Women's Cancer Support Group

During the 90 minutes sessions, topics regarding treatment, side effects, coping, fear, sexuality, self image, survivorship and any other concern brought up by members will be discussed.

Date: First Tuesday of every month, starting May 4
Time: 4 - 5:30 pm

Look Good Feel Better
"Look Good Feel Better" is a program of the American Cancer Society that helps women in active treatment manage appearance related to side effects of cancer treatment, assist in maintaining a sense of self confidence and control in their lives.
