Employee of the Year Award
Each year, the Homer W. Bourgeois Award is presented to an outstanding employee of the Medical Center. This employee is deemed by the Awards Committee as someone who has best personified the ideals, commitment, compassion and service to others that Mr. Bourgeois exemplified. Homer W. Bourgeois is remembered for his remarkable contributions and leadership to Saint Joseph’s Hospital. He served as a member of the Board of Directors for 43 years and as its President from 1965 to 1977.
Nominations for the annual award are submitted by Saints employees to the Awards Committee for consideration. The Employee of the Year receives the following:
• Parking in the Saints garage for one year
• $1,000 check
• Homer Bourgeois Recognition Dinner
• Recognition on the Saints web site
